Acceptance of Terms

By requesting, booking, accepting a quote for, or allowing Central Coast Cleaning Co Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) to perform any service, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms apply to all services including residential cleaning, commercial cleaning, lawn and garden maintenance, pressure washing, window cleaning, Airbnb services, and external property maintenance.


1. Scope of Services

Services are provided strictly in accordance with the selected package, accepted quote, work order, or agreed scope.

Any work outside the agreed scope is considered additional work and may incur additional charges.

We reserve the right to refuse additional requests that fall outside the booked service.


2. Quotes & Pricing

All quotes:

  • Are based on information supplied by the client

  • Assume standard property conditions

  • Are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated

  • May be amended where information supplied is inaccurate or incomplete

Additional charges may apply where:

  • Excessive dirt, clutter, mould, neglect or build-up exists

  • Lawns or gardens are overgrown

  • Access is restricted

  • Additional labour, equipment, chemicals or time is required

  • Conditions differ from those disclosed at the time of quoting

Additional labour is charged at $88 per hour (inc GST) unless otherwise agreed.


3. Minimum Charge

A minimum service fee of $100 (inc GST) applies to all bookings unless otherwise specified.


4. Access to Property

The client must provide safe and uninterrupted access to the property at the scheduled service time.

Where access is not available due to:

  • Incorrect keys

  • Incorrect access codes

  • Locked premises

  • Client absence

  • Tenant absence

  • Animals preventing access

the full quoted service fee will be payable.

Clients must ensure:

  • Pets are secured

  • Access paths are clear

  • Utilities required for the service are operational


5. Property Condition

Pricing is based on properties being maintained in reasonable condition.

We are not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage

  • Permanent staining

  • Wear and tear

  • Mould infestations

  • Pest infestations

  • Rust, corrosion, etching or deterioration

  • Regrowth of weeds, lawns or gardens

Where property condition materially increases service time or complexity, additional charges may apply.


6. Exclusions

Unless specifically quoted, we do not:

  • Move heavy furniture, appliances or mattresses

  • Lift or relocate large items

  • Perform housekeeping or home organisation services

  • Clean hazardous, contaminated or unsafe areas

  • Perform specialist mould remediation

  • Perform specialist pest control

  • Perform arborist services

  • Work at unsafe heights

Cleaning is performed around personal belongings where reasonably possible.


7. Health & Safety

We reserve the right to refuse, suspend or terminate services where conditions are unsafe.

We do not clean or handle:

  • Human or animal waste

  • Bodily fluids

  • Needles or sharps

  • Drug residue

  • Hoarded environments

  • Hazardous substances

  • Severe mould contamination

  • Biohazards

Full charges may still apply where attendance has occurred.


8. External Services

Clients must identify and clearly mark:

  • Irrigation systems

  • Pipes

  • Cables

  • Septic systems

  • Drainage infrastructure

  • Fragile plants

  • Hidden obstacles

We accept no liability for damage to unmarked or concealed items.


9. Weather

External services may be postponed due to:

  • Rain

  • Storms

  • High winds

  • Extreme temperatures

  • Unsafe site conditions

No compensation or liability applies for weather-related delays.


10. Green Waste

Green waste removal is only included where specifically stated in writing.

Otherwise green waste will be left neatly onsite.


11. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Residential, Commercial & Recurring Services

  • More than 48 hours notice: No charge

  • 24–48 hours notice: 50% cancellation fee

  • Less than 24 hours notice: 100% service fee

End of Lease, Deep Cleans, Airbnb & One-Off Services

  • More than 48 hours notice: No charge

  • Less than 48 hours notice: 50% cancellation fee

  • Same-day cancellation or no access: 100% service fee


12. Breakages & Liability

Any concerns regarding damage must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.

We are not liable for:

  • Loose fittings

  • Pre-existing damage

  • Fragile items

  • Hidden defects

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Failure of aged fixtures or fittings

  • Minor incidental damage occurring during normal service delivery

Our maximum liability is limited to the value of the service provided unless otherwise required by law.


13. Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are dissatisfied with a service, you must notify us within 24 hours of completion.

Our sole obligation is to return and rectify the specific area of concern where reasonably possible.

Refunds are not provided for completed services.


14. Photographs

We may take photographs before, during and after services for:

  • Quality assurance

  • Record keeping

  • Insurance purposes

  • Training purposes

  • Dispute resolution

These photographs remain the property of Central Coast Cleaning Co Pty Ltd.


15. Payment Terms

Payment is due immediately upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

For card-on-file clients, payment may be processed automatically.

Failure to make payment may result in:

  • Immediate suspension of future services

  • Cancellation of recurring bookings

  • Debt recovery action


16. Late Payments

Where payment remains outstanding:

  • A $25 late payment fee may be applied after 7 days

  • Interest may be charged at 15% per annum, calculated daily

  • Further administrative charges may apply

Acceptance of late payment does not waive our rights under these Terms.


17. Default & Debt Recovery

Where an account remains unpaid:

  • Services may be suspended immediately

  • The debt may be referred to a debt collection agency

  • Legal proceedings may be commenced

  • Credit reporting may occur where permitted by law

The client agrees to pay all costs associated with recovery of the debt, including:

  • Collection agency fees

  • Legal costs

  • Court costs

  • Administrative costs

  • Interest charges


18. Insurance

We maintain appropriate public liability insurance.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.


19. Termination

We may refuse, suspend or terminate services at any time where:

  • Safety concerns exist

  • Payment terms are breached

  • False or misleading information is supplied

  • Abusive, threatening or inappropriate behaviour occurs

No refund is payable for services already performed.


20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
